Drummer From Another Mother (2018)
HISTORY Originally a DIY prototype version during the 2017 moogfest, then released the year after designed to compliment the Mother32 synthesizer with different outfit, total black, leaving the silver line.

Overview basically it keeps the same mother32 desktop case that can be mounted into eurorack modular system (where it occupies 60hp). It's not really a drum machine, but more a drum synthesizer with handy 8x2 sequencer.
Terminal connectors: 24 patch bay front connectors with 1V/Oct Cv type, but it's already routed to generate sound without patching cables.
PATCHBAY OUT: VCA Out, VCA EG Out, VCF EG Out, VCO1 Out, VCO 2 OUT, Sequencer Trigger Out, Sequencer Velocity Out, Sequencer Pitch Out.
PATCHBAY IN: Trigger Input, VCA CV In, Velocity In, VCA Decay Control In, External Audio In, VCF Decay Control In, Noise Level In, VCO Decay In, VCF Mod In, VCO 1 CV In, 1-2 FM AMT In, FCO 2 CV In, Tempo Control In, Run/Stop, Advance Clock.
On the rear side:
- audio out jack
- 12VDC with positive center 230mA draw
- kensigton stuff (what the hell is that...)
As strange as it seems, there' s NO Midi.
VCO two oscillators VCO1 / VCO2 + a white noise generator for inharmonic frequency
The VCOs are identical, featuring wide octave range (10-octave range from manual) and 2 shapes (triangle and pulse) , they can be indipendent, tuned individually and modulated by Modulation frequency. If not enough of metallic sound, the VCOs can be hardsynched in "VCO2 > VCO1 phase" manner. Finally the Mixier controls level for Oscillator 1, Oscillator 2 and White Noise/External Audio Input
Envelope 3 bipolar EGS hard-wired for VCO pitch, VCF filter and VCA.
Filter analog LPF and HPF with resonance and pure self-oscillation.
Sequencer very easy (easier than mother32) step sequencer composed by 2 rows of 8 steps: first one is for the pitch, while second one is for velocity. It has internal clock with high rate, or can be clocked to external analog clock (step in).
