Analog Delay (Evans/Aria)

 

Analog delay produced by Evans / Aria but labeled "LOCOBOX".

EFFECT MODULE (weight: 1 KG) not quite standard rack unit.
The main panel features 6 knobs.


Back panel terminal connectors:
- single mixed output (at 0/ -20 / -40 dB).

Front panel terminal connectors:
- 2 channels inputs with double impedance for line / microphone
- 2 main outs for mixed dry-wet
- pedalswitch input for bypass.

VOICE analog delay based on a single BBD Panasonic MN3005.

 

EDIT all commands are very intuitive:
- delay time: the name speaks for itself- longer echos create a significant signal degradation
- delay levels: sets the delay volume
- feedback: sets the number of repeats.

 

 

FILTER the tone potentiometer adjusts a simple cutoff.
The Locobox is quite nice and warm, but sound really muffled even with full open filter.
