Overview and synthesis

KEYBOARD Keyboard 61 keys with aftertouch and velocity, Aftertouch, Multi, Layer, Split modes. In the center a tiny display 16x2 backlit, on the left part a single joystick for both modulation and pitch bending and an internal disk drive.

TERMINAL CONNECTORS Midi, stereo out, damper pedal + 1 assignable, headphones, special 6-dins for multi pedal EC-5 from korg.

SOUND generation based on PCM technology with 14 mb of ROM with 32 voices polyphony.
A patch can be composed by either:
- single mode 1 PCM per voice -> 32 voices polyphony
- double mode 2 PCM per voice -> 16 voices polyphony
There are 320 basic patch slots + 64 user locations, including 128 GM sounds (banks A and B) and 192 others from the factory (banks C, D and E) + a dedicated 4 MB stereo piano in bank D -which was great at the time

Filter, EG and LFO

ARRANGER 104 styles stored in ROM, 4 styles stores in RAM, up to 40,000 events note sequencer.
It is possible to read GM midi files from internal disk drive with both DH and DD format.
