Basically the XR20 is a digital programmable drum machine with a 32 voices sound generator based on 700 PCM (16 or 24 bits) samples.
The second main part is the internal sequencer that can be programmed by the 12 sensible pads or external midi keyboard.
- 9 levels of quantisize from 1/4 to 384th notes.
-3 swing levels (0,54, 58,52%)
Internal frequency from 30 to 300 BPM (can be set also by TAP button)
-Possible tempo change and special odd time signature.
Some classic functions: lenght set, time offset, assign a name, erase instrument/part, copy track, append data, transpose. Patterns are chained to SONG.

- 96 ppq resolution.
414 drums percussion including standard acustic drums but also drum machines including classic 909, 808, beat, analog, digial and much more. Some are really good. Some sounds like old 90 records.
More particular percussions, classic scratches and strange FX like sirens and some useless samples.
It includes some synth shots, also rhodes, dirty piano, brass. These can be played on 3 octaves (not multisampled).
