Overview and synthesis

KEYBOARD  76 light-weighted keys, velocity (four levels), channel's aftertouch, four split points, pretty similar to previous MS50, the model 100 differs only in the floppy disk 

SYNTHESIS  28 notes polyphony - iternal sample based 12 MB ROM, 256 PCM sounds, 11 drum sets, 135 drum sounds, four layers. The internal 256 sounds are divided into two banks of 128 (the first in GM format) as well as 128 user locations (including four reserved for loading PCM sounds or grooves), most of them resampled from previous model with higher resolution.

Programming & Memory

MEMORY   128 user voices, 128 programs, 128 total presets, user drum kit (buffered), 24 user styles, four PCM sounds / PCM grooves.
Factory built with Internal 540mb hard drive, memory is subdivided into 999 files, equivalent to master files or cards. Each folder can contain up to 255 files, 99 of which can be MIDI songs or files, the others being styles, programs, PCM sounds, etc.
Also a quite old 3 "1/2 720 720 or 1.44 MB DOS formatted floppy disk reader,

ARRANGER The Pattern section is the place where you can program a style (by modifying ROM style or editing a new one).
Depending on the lenght it is possible to store about 20 to 24 ppaterns and  In addition, a memory extension in the form of a 640 KB RAM card is provided, allowing the storage capacity to be increased to extra 40/48 complete patterns.
