Sound

SOUND  main (mask) CPU H8/532  part of manages up to 24 voices polyphony with a 16 bits DAC UPD6376GS.
A JV-30 tone is composed by one or various PCM multisample - internal samples cannot be really edited just like previous classic digital model Roland U-20.  Internal ROM (3 X IC) wavetable features 445 tones (317 GS + 128 drums) or samples at 16 bits resolution mainly derived from classic Roland Canvas SC-55. Each tone offers 8 variations presets ready to go, easily accessible from panel. JV sounds are organized in instruments families (eg: brass, piano, orchestral) mostly bread and butter sounds

PERFORMANCE system manages up to 16 parts each and some parameters:
- volume mix + effects send
- fat mode: stacks 2 voices and adds a panning position
- otave add 1 octave lower layer
- dual: 2 different tones on a layer
