Overview After the WK4, General Music offers the SK76, 76 keys weighted arranger with the possibility of loading samples.
Another version is the 88 keys Sk-88 and also a SK76 POWER STATION with factory internal HD filled with some new arrangements.
KEYBOARD Keyboard features pitch bend and modulation, a unusual trackball and quite obsolete 3 "1/2 DD and HD floppy disk drive and two stereo headphone outputs. LCD screen of 320 x 240 pixels with nice readability.
At the rear connectors: four separate audio outputs, 2 MIDI In, 2 Out and 2 Thru (sorry!), Four sockets for pedals , two microphone inputs, two other lines and finally two video outputs - operational with the optional audio / video card - in analog SVHS format (both PAL / NTSC. )
SOUND 64 voices polyphony, the SK76 has 8 MB of sounds in ROM (rompler technology) and 600 sounds classified into sixteen groups (piano, guitar, synth, bass, etc.). Each category is then divided into sixteen banks of eight sounds. The first is dedicated to General MID and the others are specific to the GEM keyboard. Also locations are available to save your own sound
SAMPLE / RAM Sounds can be processed by 64 programmable digital filters (low pass, high pass, bandpass, parametric ...). ARRANGER 128 internal styles (96 in ROM and 32 programmable in RAM), each recorded on eight tracks - drums, bass and six accompaniments. With four variations (12 introductions, 12 finals and 48 different patterns per style), you are at the head of over 3,000 patterns.
The ROMstyles are classified into eight categories ranging from jazz to techno, including funk, rock or salsa. Obviously, each of the styles is editable and can be stored in one of the 32 memory locations provided for this purpose.
